Project Description: This project is a high profile, Jewish private academy located in Dallas, Texas off of Coit Road. The project consisted of a total of 114,000 square feet in 7 individual buildings. The campus included pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school buildings; a gymnasium with associated locker rooms; an administration/library/ auditorium/cafeteria building; and, a prayer center each with a unique appearance and floor plan. The administration building and the high school were two story. Construction consisted of a myriad of materials, including laminated roof decking, metal roof decking, structural steel beams, bar joist, fabricated wood trusses, light gauge steel studs, and veneer. Our scope of work consisted of complete structural design.

Project Description: This 49,000 square foot facility was designed to replace the original school facility lost to a fire. Construction of the wings consisted of structural standing seam roofs over light gauge zee purlins and load bearing cmu walls. The remainder of the structure consisted of steel deck, bar joist and steel beams with load bearing cmu as well as light gauge steel stud curtain walls. The facility included a code mandated tornado safe room designed to ICC 500 requirements. Our responsibilities include complete structural design services.

It features single and two-story classroom wings; competition and recreational gymnasiums; and administrative, athletic and band areas.
